The terms that govern your use of Barometer.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) outline your legal rights and responsibilities with respect to your access and use of the websites at www.barometertech.com, mats.consultbarometer.com, www.barometer.co.in and related desktop or mobile applications (collectively, the “Barometer Platforms”) operated by Barometer Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Barometer,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using the Barometer Platforms, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) executed with your organisation, along with any applicable merchant certification requirements. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must cease using the Barometer Platforms immediately.
“Services”: Includes Barometer’s inventory management solutions and audit & consulting services.
“Content”: Refers to all materials Barometer creates and makes available, including software, reports, analytics, and other resources associated with the Services.
“Your Content” or “User Content”: Refers to data or materials you upload, share, or transmit through the Barometer Platforms, such as inventory, purchase and sales data, reviews, or reports.
Barometer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
You agree to indemnify Barometer for any loss or damage arising from your misuse of the Barometer Platforms.
Barometer owns all intellectual property associated with the Services and Content. You may not use Barometer’s trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without prior written consent.
By submitting Your Content, you grant Barometer a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it for improving the Services, analytics, and API integrations with third parties.
You represent that Your Content:
Barometer Platforms may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Point of Sales, analytics and logistics providers). By using such integrations, you agree to comply with their respective terms. Barometer is not liable for any issues arising from third-party services.
Certain parts of the Barometer Platforms use third-party AI providers to process content you submit. This includes the website assistant (chat), which uses Google Gemini to generate responses to your messages, and Services features such as invoice scanning and voice-based data entry, which use OpenAI (including Whisper) to process invoice images and voice recordings into usable data.
These providers process your Content solely to generate a response or output for you and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. See the Privacy Policy for further detail on how this data is handled.
Barometer does not offer a free trial of the Services. To understand pricing, plan options, and whether Barometer is the right fit for your outlet, book a demo or get in touch with our team.
Fees are charged annually unless exception made in contract.
Barometer reserves the right to change service plans and pricing with prior notice.
Your use of the Barometer Platforms is subject to the Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, process, and secure your personal information.
The Barometer Platforms are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Barometer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Barometer Platforms without liability if required for maintenance, legal compliance, or other reasons.
Barometer is not responsible for third-party advertisements or services featured within the Barometer Platforms. You engage with advertisers at your own risk.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Barometer.
Barometer may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Barometer Platforms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to be enforceable.
